Off The Fence

Bloggers, journalists and all media people have had a bonanza week: the Democratic Convention followed by news of Sarah Palin, Alaska's Governor, the Republican VP choice.

Here's a link to some thoughts on Ms Palin, which passing readers might find of interest. These come from astrologer Marjorie Orr. Her interpretations of the good lady's chart and compatibility with Senator McCain can be found in entry dated
29 August, timed 16.37hrs.
McCain VP - Sarah Palin

I'm saying no more on this subject. I've overdosed on politics this week. I have, at last jumped off the fence, though am still not feeling any real confidence in Obama. I took in the view from both sides and remain unable, in all conscience, to support the Republican ticket - even with a female as VP, this particular female is a Republican female, Hillary Clinton she ain't!

The left is in my blood, in my DNA, and probably somewhere in my astrology. In the end that overcomes all uncertainties and distrusts. I'm home!

JM is one of my favourites of all time, T, though in dialup doldrums I can't see your YouTube at the mo.
I've been taking a breather from the rants too. I'm sure a vent will come on soon, though!
Perhaps some changes will happen for the better to the whole USA political circus which smacks so much of Hollywood and unreality. I rarely hear the serious issues discussed. Except by bloggers.

This election is full of surprises, not least the Republican VP running mate. Not sure yet whether it is a good idea, but it seems to me that since Obama is young with a much older running mate, the much older McCain had to have a much younger one.
Ain't showbiz marvellous?!!!

Hello WWW and AN

thanks for your comments.

Ah well, just another week of high jinks for the politicos, this time for the Republicans. Then they can all get down to some proper work.

I think it was a good tactic on McCain's part to choose a female VP, but I think there are some women in his party with more experience than Ms Palin -probably less glamorous ones though! At least the comedians won't be able to make lame jokes about pant suits
this time. Sigh.
