Music Monday ~ Seeing Clearly
This morning I'll be at our local hospital accompanying my husband, who is attending for cataract surgery. He'll have one eye "done" today, and the other in one week's time. It's Music Monday, so...here's the song he'll soon be singing, along with Johnny Nash:
Good luck with it all. They seem to have improved on the surgery since my father's time. It took 6 weeks per eye then but I remember him saying in astonishment "The colours!"
Wisewebwoman ~ Thank you, from us both WWW! We arrived at the hospital spot on 9 AM and were out the door at 11.30 AM! Himself with big eye-patch, until tomorrow morning, when his own optometrist will remove the patch and give further instructions re eye drops. The surgeon assured us that all went "beautifully". For next week's procedure we have to be at the hospital by 6.30 AM - YIKES! Must be first on the list.
