SUNDAY SUPPLEMENT

A quartet of links for perusal while enjoying the morning coffee, afternoon tea or evening tipple - and suchlike:

Plinky Prompts
Sometimes a source of ideas, sometimes just a fascinating read.

The Vertical Oracle
Fun way to get a quick, do-it-yourself answer to your question of the moment. Answers can be cheeky and spooky at times. (Produced by astrologer Antero Alli and Sylvie Pickering). The deck of cards, illustrations from which are also featured at Free Will Astrology, at the weekly horoscopes, can be purchased here.

Elle News Blog
Tidbits of fashion and other fripperies.
Readers of "a certain age" might like to scroll down to "A Senior Moment" and if you are brave enough, follow the link to "Advanced Style" blog. Eeeek! Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

The Arrow of Time
The Diego family has an annual ritual. They photograph themselves "to stop, for a fleeting moment, the arrow of time passing by". The small facial photos of each family member span the years from 1976 to 2009. It's so interesting to see the family likenesses and how they develop.

This is a great site that you have here. I've always been interested in astrology. I have a paranormal site myself and I would like to exchange links with you. Let me know if this is possible.

Hi Jason thanks for your visit ~ I really don't like saying no to a request like yours, but I'd rather not mix astrology and paranormal links on this blog. I, personally, don't consider astrology to be paranormal in the same way that UFOs, ghosts etc. are understood.

I hope you'll understand, and I wish you all the best with your website, which will be a source of interest for many, I feel sure.
:-)

A did Plinky for a while but soon got bored with it. And - wait for it - Twitter has had tech problems that meant I couldn't Tweet for a while, and when it came back, I thought: I think I'll give it a break.
Don't know whether I'll go back, but it certainly helped in defining my new style of Flash posts. Though, for now, I've discovered there is life after Twitter :-)

AnthonyNorth ~~~ I wondered why I hadn't seen your "tweets" for a while. I'm keeping it more as a source of information than anything else. i'll throw in an infrequent contribution, just to show willing, and to prove I'm alive. ;-) Yes, I can appreciate that the need to limit words on Twitter can be a useful exercise.
so many of our words are there for dressing, but it's important to realise which these are.
