I felt sad when I read about the recent death of Scott Walker. I pulled out my post, from 2010, about him, and his astrology:

Interesting to note, from his natal chart in that post, that transiting Pluto had been conjunct his natal Capricorn Sun in recent months, and is still only a few degrees away from it. Pluto transits pack a punch! Perhaps more on that topic tomorrow.

I don't know what it is but I've never been a fan of that kind of singer/music. The Mel Torme school I call it, though that is highly inaccurate.

Wisewebwoman ~ Scott Walker had two distinct sides to his music. Early on, as a duo with his brother (The Walker Brothers) his style was very much of the 1960s, when other fraternal duos were popular (Everly, Righteous). After going solo, Scott carved out a rather off-beat style for himself which I found interesting, but not always to my taste. He was a complex mix, I think, not really fitting any label.
IMO best top hit, The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore

Anonymous ~ Good one, yes - that was when he was one of the Walker Brothers.
My own favourite of SW = "Jackie"
