American Politics

This question at Quora recently brought forth several lengthy responses:
Why is there so much turmoil in American politics today?

The illustration, right, plus a succinct 2-sentence answer by Mason Kelsey, former Computer Programmer, now Retired say all that needs to be said, in my opinion. I quote Mr Kelsey:
Democratic Party forgot to stay based in grassroots liberal and progressive values. The Republican Party allowed the influx of Tea Party racist, neo-Nazi members who took over the party.

  1. Absolutely. There has been a lot of reportage on the lack of vigilance in US politics.

  2. Wisewebwoman ~ Yes. If they'd stop pointing schoolyard fingers at Trump, day after day, hour after hour, and take more notice of what is actually being done by the rest of 'em it'd help a bit. Most reporters, writers and pundits can't get past the sad sack we have in the presidency - he wouldn't be there if more of them had been doing their job better in the past!

Would never blame the media. Big problem is the availability of selective media that caters to each and every political taste, truth and reality be damned. Each pretty much tunes out the anti-whatever and focuses on their pro-whatever.

The USA is not alone in global Crazytown. Could Trump be one of many international leaders' metaphor for the uranus pluto square? That in earth global cardinal cross. The media was affected by saturn neptune square in the leadup to the election, including voters. Brexit is UK-EU Trump. Like mythology so little time and so many monsters to slay. Don't forget the big planet events are still a year away. It keeps keeping on.
