I've been finding that, for some reason, I do much better with novelists from a slightly earlier era. There's no doubt the writing is poetic, though hard-going in any but the shortest of works. I found some of her titles strangely familiar, but for the life of me I can't ascertain why. I know I've never read her work (I don't have the patience of Anyjazz!)
An interesting post, Twilight.R J Adamshttps://sparrowchat.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16659850.post-30938779348519128072016-09-29T12:42:30.700-05:002016-09-29T12:42:30.700-05:00LB ~ A strong personality indeed! I was very surprised to find that Astrodienst/Astrodatabank has no entry for her at all; Astrotheme has one without a birth time.

Yes, that great quote was probably the reason I originally wrote the post about her.
Twilighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14138621610593773784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16659850.post-74217751916409487442016-09-29T08:25:37.723-05:002016-09-29T08:25:37.723-05:00Twilight ~ What a lot she had to deal with. No wonder she wrote about "misfits and outcasts."

I haven't read any of Carson McCuller's novels but love the quote you included about the world, says this Moon in the early degrees of Aquarius square Neptune-Mercury-Jupiter in Scorpio and widely opposite Uranus in Leo.

Also noticed her Mars and Neptune are quincunx, as are mine. It's an aspect that can shatter our illusions about a lot of things, but which lends itself to a refocusing of creative and/or spiritual energies.

Wish her time of birth was known.
