...RJ ~~~ Hi again - good to see you back blogging !

Eclipses are certainly routine - they come along as regularly as the Eurovision Song Contest to remind us of how our solar system works.

Whether they are of any great consequence is a moot point. Most astrologers think they are, I'm on the fence about it. In the great scheme of things, I guess they do regularly assure us that "the universe is unfolding as it should". :-)Twilighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14138621610593773784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16659850.post-53222502259298241842009-07-28T08:57:09.497-05:002009-07-28T08:57:09.497-05:00In my first Sparrow Chat post after arriving back ...In my first Sparrow Chat post after arriving back from vacation, I described the eclipse as, "...a routine celestial happening of no consequence whatever to the human race..."

While writing it I couldn't help but smile, and wonder if you'd agree.R J Adamshttp://sparrowchat.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16659850.post-23796380352779262282009-07-26T11:46:22.494-05:002009-07-26T11:46:22.494-05:00Shawn ~~~ Yes, that does seem logical. But there are so many, many factors which can be taken into account in astrology, that if we consider them all it just gets silly. You can make anything mean anything. That's why I like to stick to a minimalist approach. If it works - it must be able to work with the basics, to begin with.Twilighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14138621610593773784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16659850.post-63718774199484927012009-07-21T17:32:47.565-05:002009-07-21T17:32:47.565-05:00WWW ~~~ Manic....well, that transiting Jupiter/Nep...WWW ~~~ Manic....well, that transiting Jupiter/Neptune conjunction is opposite your natal Sun. I found out recently that there was a total eclipse within 20 mins of my birth — definitely signing off the easy life and heralding a strange new world!
Awake in the night, I pondered that if time is as non-linear as we like to think, mayn't eclipse effects be as potent before the event as after?Anonymoushttp://www.penelopetodd.co.nznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16659850.post-5840902770326423602009-07-21T16:10:39.228-05:002009-07-21T16:10:39.228-05:00The skies these nights are magic, I am totally awe...The skies these nights are magic, I am totally awestruck by the stars and the Milky Way. How tiny we all are and what an influence these celestial beings exert on us. I am almost manic lately and wonder if this is the influence of the moon....
XO
WWWWisewebwomanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15281689872840844191noreply@blogger.com
