Hmmm. Veee-ery interesting! Maybe thaose degrees represent the peak of a timewave - or rather that quality of time just after the peak when the wave begins to smash down.

Convolusions are us! ;-)Twilighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14138621610593773784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16659850.post-45171950296675651992013-07-11T03:23:44.392-05:002013-07-11T03:23:44.392-05:00Thanks for this. I agree with the person who said -- why not go back to 1969, if you're going back to 1989.

But on the subject of people's revolutions like 1989, I think Neptune is an important part of the mix. The big difference between 1989 and the Arab Spring was that, aside from Yugoslavia -- which did not kick off until the 1990s anyway --, the revolutions were incredibly quick, decisive and bloodless. I wonder if that's because of the triple conjunction, whereas the Arab Spring was all squares and oppositions. Also it's interesting that Pluto has been where the triple conjunction was.

OK, now I'm getting to convoluted for a comment. Using another metaphor I'm reminded of a weaver picking up strands of different shades of wool in turn, to produce a multi-coloured repeating pattern.

I do enjoy seeing examples of non-astrology people noticing the patterns - as in the article quoted in the post, for instance.
This gives astrology a certain validity - even if most readers remain in denial.
:-)Twilighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14138621610593773784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16659850.post-15147229118697589572013-07-08T09:27:03.217-05:002013-07-08T09:27:03.217-05:00Referenced in my comment from your July 3rd commen...Referenced in my comment from your July 3rd commentary, author Robert Blaschke discusses the Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions and oppositions, states:

"At the previous Grand Conjunction cycle’s oppositions (i.e., five oppositions occurred between September 1989 and May 1991), the world experienced many significant and historical events, such as the fall of the Berlin Wall; the freeing of Nelson Mandela from prison and the beginning of the end of apartheid in South Africa; the student democratic revolution in China, culminating in the Tiananmen Square killings; and the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq’s Saddam Hussein, which lead to the first Gulf War."
http://mountainastrologer.com/tma/the-jupiter%E2%80%93saturn-cycle-2010%E2%80%932011-opposition-and-global-changes

In the same comment, Kelly Phipps states:

"In 1981 CE, the new multicultural global civilization was set to emerge under the Earth-Air Wave. The first Air Sign Conjunction since the 12th century Scholastic Renaissance launched an unheralded new wave of awareness, education and knowledge with the birth of accessible, personal computers. The forty-year Age of Information began in earnest. During the midpoint of the Libra Chronicle, the Soviet Union and the Berlin Wall collapsed and out of the ashes the European Union arose, the first time in history that independent European nations banned together to share one currency. The invention of the World Wide Web was the first true
sign that we were transitioning into the Airy Trigon Wave with its promise of intellectual revitalization and sweeping social, political and economic transformations. Uranus, Neptune and Saturn conjuncted in late Capricorn to mark both the height and the end of the Industrial Age."
http://divineinspirationastrology.com/articles/ElementWavChron2011.pdf

Maybe the Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions and oppositions are simply quinky-dinks.
