I'll add a hyperlink at the end of the post to make it easy to access.

Bernie's down-sizing of staff in states where primaries have already been held was seen as a sign of defeatism by some, but simply good economical sense by others. He's wise and practical. The fact that he's determined to remain in the race says that he's well aware of the math, I reckon. Why he doesn't explain it in the detail presented by John Laurits is probably found in some of the arguments appearing in comments to Laurits' essay. There are arguments against, for those (and there are many) with ulterior motive, and those without hope, love and enthusiasm.

I've just been reading a piece and thread of comments at "naked capitalism".:

http://www.nakedcapitalism.com/2016/04/will-clinton-attempt-to-bring-sanders-supporters-into-the-democratic-fold.html

Commenters there are of the opinion that Clinton will never give Bernie's proposals any consideration at all, even lip-service that would never be acted upon. She expects his supporters to embrace her policies just as they are. I saw a clip of her interview with Rachel Maddow and Clinton's expression as she shouted right into Rachel's face something along the lines of "BUT I'M WINNING!" was flippin' scary!!
The Democratic Party as it is now doesn't want any leftists - simple as that.

I'm for trusting Bernie's judgement on how best to proceed - he knows things we don't, and likely shouldn't. And as you say, astrology indicates that things will remain long-term nebulous.

I've never come across the term refranation. Hmmm - meaning that two planets would have conjoined if not for a retrograde motion by one of them, and by the time the retrograding planet returned the other planet had moved on? Maybe it doesn't happen very often, so the term has become obscure ?
Twilighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14138621610593773784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16659850.post-3127605518352293312016-04-30T11:03:58.132-05:002016-04-30T11:03:58.132-05:00Learned a new astrology word:

I've been perplexed by some of Bernie's maneuvers over time, essentially reticence to say more, as it seems he missed some golden moments. This essay by Laurits could be another. I've not heard Bernie make these statements, ie that there is a strong likelihood of preventing Hillary's delegate total (without super delegates). Yes, Bernie has mentioned a number of times that he intends to influence the super delegates, but he's never mentioned a complete dependence for both himself and Hillary on super delegates, as would be the case should neither successfully obtain the needed state delegates.

As for Hillary and super delegates, she has it in the bag, if her 33-state-super-delegate-purchase holds. Last I heard, there was a possibility of Hillary's purchase being subject to legal scrutiny, as she and the DNC were utilizing a loophole in the DNC rules. Not illegal, but not ethical, either.

Laurit's last comment on "Part Two" (at this time of viewing) is:
"John Laurits says:
April 29, 2016 at 10:39 pm

You said: 'Your math is possible but intentionally or not you make it seem not just possible but likely.'
I say that you’re right but you’ve got a lot to learn about things like 'hope' and 'solidarity,' and, as much as it irks me, it is difficult to quantify such things as enthusiasm, love, and destiny — nonetheless, these things are factored in to everything I say here as much as the numbers. Peace, godspeed, and vote with your soul…"

We are in the Jupiter-Saturn-Neptune T-square season, so nothing is as it seems and obvious outcomes will be marred by interference. Jupiter will leave the T-square and rapidly enter Libra, then form another T-square with Uranus and Pluto (and Uranus will be within 3* square of Pluto) from November through February, 2017). Whatever the presidential election result, there will be extreme discontent from the public. A peculiarity of the November 8th election is Neptune's conjunction with the S Node...a disillusioned attachment to the past.

The 2016 POTUS "winner" may be a faulty interpretation.mikenoreply@blogger.com
