Paddling, in English English, involves taking off one's shoes and socks and walking into the shallow part of the sea, from a beach.
In American English I now understand that a paddle, is what in England is something akin to a table tennis bat (in shape), and can be used to deliver a well-felt slap to a certain part of the anatomy. O..o..kay! Yes I agree, and a slap upside the head wouldn't go amiss either. But all of that mini-violence is un-PC to the n-th degree in 2016.Twilighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14138621610593773784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16659850.post-63627929557315156842016-05-14T15:29:58.570-05:002016-05-14T15:29:58.570-05:00If Trump were only five years old today, he would ...If Trump were only five years old today, he would be standing in a corner with a paddled bum. anyjazzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03319237414264543250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16659850.post-42683603532769042162016-05-14T15:23:30.892-05:002016-05-14T15:23:30.892-05:00mike (again) ~ Yes, that's what Bernie's ...mike (again) ~ Yes, that's what Bernie's campaign is about. 'See, there are people voting for Donald Trump, thinking he's going to do it all,' the Vermont senator said. 'Wrong! The only way that real change every takes place is when millions of people stand up and fight back. That's what this campaign is about.'"
http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/279913-sanders-im-not-a-saviormike (again)noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16659850.post-44278079490144084862016-05-14T11:35:26.925-05:002016-05-14T11:35:26.925-05:00mike ~ Thanks for your own thoughts of Trump and T...mike ~ Thanks for your own thoughts of Trump and Trumpism.

The question of media vs public is a bit like the chicken and egg question. I blame media more than the people, you tend the other way, blaming the people, I think. I definitely believe that, had Trump's shenanigans been ignored more by mass media, early on, he'd not be in the position he is now. Trouble is, we'd likely be seeing a Ted Cruz nomination. :-/ Maybe it was for the....?best? after all.

If Donald Trump did become President Trump, in spite of all obstacles put in his way by RNC, how much power would he actually have? He'd be up against congress, in respect of his most ridiculous proposals - especially difficult for him if Democrats make gains in House and Senate (thanks in great part to Bernie's coat-tails). The SCOTUS question is always with us, but again his recommendations would have to be approved by congress. As long as Dems make gains in House and Senate, a Prez Trump would be hamstrung, much as Prez Obama has been at times. Militarily he could be no worse than Clinton - maybe even a better bet, some say. One really, really bad aspect of a President Trump would be the dreadful perception of him by other nations.

His natal Regulus has been there all along - yes. It has taken its time to light up fully, maybe because of his other astrological attributes causing problems - but light up it has, eventually, when it found receptive audiences in Americans who are sick and tired of rule by The Establishment. Bernie found similar reception, but working from his own honesty and integrity - the exact opposite of Donald Trump. Kind of poetic really ain't it?
Twilighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14138621610593773784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16659850.post-91359985565297580892016-05-14T09:34:35.377-05:002016-05-14T09:34:35.377-05:00Trump had political, presidential ambition since 1...Trump had political, presidential ambition since 1988 [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Trump#Presidential_leanings.2C_1988.E2.80.932012 ], but was never condoned by the electorate until now. There is a resonance with the collective at this time, at least those that view him favorably. I think it's less about The Donald and more about his hot air filling a vacuum. There seem to be many that want to breathe-in that hot air. Trump's incessant news coverage has vilified him, or better said, allowed Trump to denigrate himself. I would never say that the media has painted a pretty portrait of Trump. As you pointed-out, even in the Republican debates he took center stage with his outlandishness. Do we blame the debate moderators and-or hosts for giving him a perverse platform and media coverage?

I'm typically not one to place much blame on the media, except to say that true, investigative journalism tends to be a lost cause, though it still exists should one know where to find it. The media caters to the public's interests, which has become increasingly shallow and vacuous. I put the media that we bash, but follow, in the same category as the corporations that we all love to hate, yet the majority of Americans work for these very corporations...a bit ironic. Most of us dislike the media, yet are glued to the babble. I plead guilty. The Trump stink-bombs attract me, verifying my repulsion of him...I can't seem to turn my eyes-ears away when the media presents yet another of his atrocious statements.

I suspect his natal astrology is only a small part of his rise. It's the same natal astrology that has been there all along in his failed political attempts since 1988. The astrological transits that began in 2008, Saturn-Uranus-Pluto T-square, then Uranus-Pluto square, and now Jupiter-Saturn-Neptune, have greatly affected us. Add the USA natal chart and transits, particularly the Pluto return, Pluto's current position, which opposes the USA's natal Sun and squares natal Saturn.

Astrologically, I evaluated that Trump would have his downfall last March...he did have difficulties at that time, but rebounded stronger than ever. Both Trump and Bernie will be affected by the new Moon of June 4th, which is part of a grand cross at 14* mutable signs: transiting Moon-Venus-Sun conjunct in Gemini, square Jupiter-N Node and Neptune-S Node, opposed Saturn.
http://planetwatcher.com/#1465095600mikenoreply@blogger.com
